Strengthen Wildfire Resilience on Ancestral Lands
Wildfires are an increasing threat across the Inland Empire, putting Tribal lands, cultural sites, and ecosystems at risk. These areas include ancestral gathering sites, traditional plant communities, and places of cultural significance that require active stewardship to endure.
Our program supports the protection and long-term resilience of these landscapes through proactive wildfire mitigation. We work in partnership with Tribal communities, fire agencies, and regional partners to implement strategies that combine ecological science with traditional ecological knowledge.
